This book is really amazing, and for many reasons. First of all Sharon Creech is a very good writer with a big, but clever imagination. This book is in a style unlike any other and really showed me a different way of writing. However this is not a bad thing as she creates an atmosphere where you feel so absorbed in the situation that you really are glued to the book! If you read this book it will change the way you look at families and 'the middle child', this heartwarming story had me gripping my duvet but at other times laughing out loud. Enjoy this book, read it even if you have never read in your life as it does change your thinking for the better! My stars: 
Aprilynne Pike's Wings book is very good. Even though I felt it took a little time to get used to, once you gather up all the facts she as given you, you are in their world and experiencing what the charracter experiences herself.
A very clever book although a little dark at times definetely a good book to read and one where you will want the next ones in the series.
